The Barfield Sampler is a collection of poetry and fiction by Owen Barfield; it is the most inclusive collection of Barfield's creative writings. This book was edited by Jeanne Clayton Hunter and Thomas Kranidas; it was first published in 1993 with Barfield's full and enthusiastic co-operation. This is a very valuable book. It will be the topic of discussion at the upcoming meeting of the Barfield Society in Boise, Idaho, in October 2015. All attendees and fellow travelers are heartily encouraged to familiarize themselves with this essential volume.
